National Police Survey: Have your say!

Dear Hockley Heath

We invited you to participate in a major new research study exploring people’s views and experiences of crime, anti-social behaviour, and policing in the UK on 26th August, but we noticed you haven’t started the survey yet.

On average, it takes 10 minutes to complete, and it is entirely multiple-choice. No questions are mandatory, so you can skip any you would rather not answer. If you get distracted, you can save your progress as you go and come back whenever you wish.

The research aims to improve:

·  understanding of what shapes public confidence in policing,

·  how confidence changes over time, and

·  the impact of neighbourhood policing on local communities.

Why take part?

Your views matter.

We want to hear from people with a range of experiences and opinions, whether positive, negative, or somewhere in between.

You do not need to have had contact with the police to take part. Every response helps build a better understanding of what matters most to local communities.

You may want to learn more before proceeding.  You can access the survey’s FAQs on our website here.  Please note that it will take you away from this page.

Neighbourhood Plan – Business Survey

Local businesses in the village are encouraged to complete the Neighbourhood Plan survey (paper copies have recently been distributed to businesses in Hockley Heath and a copy is included below) to share your priorities and aspirations for the future of the village. Your feedback will directly inform the Parish Council’s work on the Neighbourhood Plan and help shape future policies.

Deadline for completion of the business survey is Friday 4th September 2026.

The online survey can be completed here: https://online1.snapsurveys.com/HockleyHeathBusiness26
